Welcome To The
All Pro Gamer UT Comp Server
Hosted At
AllProGamer.Com
To access the game
in UT 2004 when you click on "Join Game" and "Internet", right click an area in
there and chose "Open IP" from the list.
Type in 69.90.135.186:7777
That will take you into the game.
You can also join the game by clicking on "Join Server" in the ServerSpy app
running above.
Anytime during the game you can hit the ESC key to bring up the map browser and
in the bottom right corner you will see an area to add the server to your
Favorites.
That makes it a lot easier to return again to the game next time by choosing
"Favorites" from the "Join Game" menu.
I have the server setup with Team Death Match, Capture The Flag, and UT Comp
Clan Arena.
The TDM and CTF games can be used with the following weapons by using Map Vote
by hitting the Esc key and choosing the game style and maps from the drop down
list:
All weapons, Instagib only, or the Flak Cannon (my fave) only.
I am running a few mutators on the server full time:
1. Bighead:
Players and bots with high points get a huge head, and if you are doing lousy,
you get a pin head.
2. Low gravity:
When you hit your jump key, you jump higher than normal.
At the top of your jump you can tap the jump key again and jump even higher.
3. UT Comp 1.6a, you can read the
help file here.
The server will update your PC with UT Comp, but if you would like to install it
so you can use it also if you are hosting on your PC,
grab
it here.
This UT Comp mutator simply rocks, as it adds bright skins to players which
makes them show up much better, and also hit sounds.
The hits sounds item plays a sound when you make a kill, much better to detect
when you have made a kill.
Once you play with this mutator you will not want to play without it.
Hit the F5 key when entering the game to adjust your settings for it.
The server is running full time, but I mainly play Friday nights from 6 to 8 PM
PST
or so, and I am on and off quite a bit Saturday and available Saturday night too
in case anyone wants to play me.
You can PM me on YotaTech, post in the
UT 2004 thread in the PC section,
on Andy's forum
AllProGamer I designed, or
reach
me via Xfire and add kingasus to your list.
Xfire simply rocks!
It is the Instant Messaging program made by gamers for gamers.
It keeps track of your online gaming, and others who have an account and have
you on their friends list can see what game you are in.
They can then join the exact same game and map you are in via the program.
In order to play
on this server you will need the following files below, as we run a lot of neat
custom maps from the UT Community.
 Editors Choice Bonus
Pack
 Community Bonus Pack
One
 Community Bonus Pack
Two, Volume One
 Community Bonus Pack

From UCMPs website,

 A 50 mb zipped file
on my server of a few custom maps I have collected, and it may grow in size if I
add more to it

different OS than Windows, here is a complete list at Beyond Unreals website
 Wanna chat in game
with voice?
We run Teamspeak 24/7 so you can talk in the game.
There are a few different rooms in the server I setup, so please use the UT 2004
one while playing.
UTs built in voice chat is not the greatest, in fact it rather sucks, and this
is why we use Teamspeak.
Teamspeak 2 rocks, and is run on the gaming server with server side software.
To set it up:
1. Fire up the app and click on settings, then sound input/output settings.
Setup your push to talk button with a key or mouse button of your choice, or use
the voice activation setting like I use.
2. Next hit the connection link at the top and choose quick connect.
Type in the IP address of the server the game is running on which is currently
69.90.135.186.
That is all there is to it, and I must admit the voice quality is almost as good
as a telephone.
When I game now I do not even use the telephone to talk with other gamers,
Teamspeak is that good.
You do not need a fancy microphone either.
I was using
one of these cheap ones I have had for 10 years
or so, and it works great.
Right now as of 9-25-05, I am using a
Plantronics Audio 90 headset with mic.
It rocks and I will link a review to it here when I get a chance.
Here are some more links that may be of help to you with this game.
